Precision/Progression Pressings

From conventional progression tool pressings through to drawn parts, Clamason covers the full range. Clamason’s presses range from 100 tonnes and produce precision metal components for smaller pressed parts and 300 tonnes for larger pressed parts and can run at speeds of up to 80 spm (strokes per minute). Suitable for use with a wide range of different materials, these precision presses can work on a part from the size of a stamp to the size of an A4 piece of paper.

High Speed Pressings for Precision Metal Components

Clamason have produced a range of small pressed components since being founded in 1947. In recent years the development of the high-speed stamping area has become a key focus for the Clamason engineering team with components being produced at more than 1,000 parts per minute of a range of high speed Bruderer and Kaiser presses. Components produced in this area are manufactured in a range of materials including Stainless Steel, Brass, Copper, Phosphor bronze and Nickel Silver with material thicknesses ranging from 0.1mm to 1mm. The Clamason engineers are experts in optimising the strip layout and material yield to ensure Clamason give their customers a competitive advantage.

Precision Metal Components –Multi-Slide Pressings

Multi-Slide presses have been in operation at Clamason for many decades, including a range of different machines being used including Heenan and Froude, Rockwell and Bihler. Precision metal components produced using this technology are mainly for the electrical and building sectors where volumes are relatively high and material utilisation is key for competitive pricing.
