And 2023 will mark a significant milestone for the business, new machinery coinciding with an ongoing site expansion in Nitra, Slovakia.
The GTX series is a line of high-speed, high-precision mechanical presses that are designed for a variety of applications such as punching, blanking, and forming. They’re built with a double-crank mechanism and straight-sided design – providing reliable, high-quality production.
Forecast to be operational in Summer 2023, the new 400-tonne machine will encompass a full stamping line – including the latest in decoiling and straightening technology. This complements existing high tech processes including the trademarked ATC100 cleaning process and laser KTL paint removal cell.
Both of those will play a key roll in the expansion of producing complex components for electric vehicle and hybrid components at Clamason Slovakia.

The GTX 400 is produced by Chin Fong, a Taiwan-based manufacturer of mechanical presses.

The machine was purchased from the UK’s leading supplier of mechanical and hydraulic equipment, Worcester Presses, with which Clamason has enjoyed a 30-year relationship – including technical support and service packages.
